If you’ve ever dreamed of having your wedding catered by Quiznos, then getting hammered on free booze and sharing Olive Garden desserts during the reception, then this year’s Leap Year Day is your lucky day.

This Saturday, Feb. 29, marks 2020 as a Leap Year. It also offers you the opportunity to cash in on some free promotional deals from companies looking to get a little extra publicity for their generosity. So, allow me to oblige them and inform you of your chance to get everything from free beer to free desserts to free catering for your wedding.

Freebie deals on Saturday, Feb. 29:

Miller Lite

In celebration of the extra 24 hours of Leap Day, Miller Lite is shelling out free 24-packs of Miller Lite. Yup. Free beer, folks! On February 29, head to Miller Lite’s Instagram and Twitter to get a QR code, scan it and submit your receipt from your 24-pack to get a refund via PayPal.

Stella Artois

But Miller isn’t the only company giving out free beer. No sirree, Stella Artois is also joining in on the Leap Day party with a fund of $366,000 to reflect the 366 days in a Leap Year. According to the company, “Stella Artois wants everyone to UnCancel their plans on Leap Day and instead to share a beer with a family member, friend, or loved one.” Well, if you insist…

How do you get your free Stella Artois? You have to share Stella’s short film with the hashtag #UnCancelPromo, follow @StellaArtois and make your purchase between February 26 and 29. Beer fans will then have until March 14 to redeem their refund.

Olive Garden

After all that beer, you might get a little hungry, so why not spike up that insulin with some more carbs? How about some free desserts and discounted pasta from Olive Garden? You can grab an Olive Garden $5 Take Home entrée for just $2.29 with a choice between Fettuccine Alfredo, Five Cheese Ziti al Forno and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce on Saturday. Additionally, if your birthday falls on February 29, which means you’re either 31 or 7 depending on how you count those things, you can also get four free dolicini desserts. You just have to show them your ID. Which, if you go by 31 is probably a drivers license, and if you go by 7, is probably a filled-in ID card cut out of the side of a Cap’n Crunch box.

Quiznos

Now, here’s a move I don’t recommend to just anyone, unless your potential life partner really, really, really, REALLY loves sandwiches. Apparently in some throwback to Sadie Hawkins there’s a Leap Day tradition where women propose to their significant other. And if that significant other loves sandwiches, well, say no more. Quiznos is offering that anyone who proposes to their partner with a Quiznos sandwich instead of a ring the chance to be entered into a drawing to win free Quiznos catering at their wedding. Yup, just like you always dreamed of.

So, sandwiches, beer, pasta and desserts — sounds like a great recipe for Leap Day!
