Christkindlmarkt Quad Cities 2019 Heads to Freight House
The Quad Cities’ annual holiday celebration of German heritage is back once again, at a new location!
Christkindlmarkt Quad Cities 2019 will take place this Saturday Dec 7 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday Dec 8 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Freight House Market (421 W River Dr. Davenport).
Previously held at the German American Heritage Museum Center & Museum, this artisan craft and gift market will include German music, European foods, international beers, and artist demonstrations and performances.
Kick off the Christkindlmarkt fun with the St. Nicholas Dinner on Friday Dec 6 from 5 – 9 p.m. Get a sneak peek before the market opens to the public. Enjoy the ceremonial “First Tapping” of the exclusive Krampus Stout and Christkind Golden Ale from Front Street Brewery. Then sit down to a delicious meal served Stammtisch style. Individual tickets are $40 and tables of 8 are just $300.
