WQPT announces its annual PBS KIDS Writers Contest empowering children in grades K-3 to celebrate creativity and build literacy skills by writing and illustrating their own stories. Stories, which must be the original work of the child, may be non-fiction, fiction, prose or poetry. The City of Bettendorf has officially opened the season for skating at Frozen Landing Family Ice Rink. The ice rink is located at the corner of Middle Road and 23rd Street.
