Spring is right around the corner, which means it’s time for Egg Hunts! The Rock Island Parks and Recreation are spicing things up, however, with an Underwater Egg Hunt!

This Sunday Mar 18, join the Rock Island Parks and Recreation at the first ever Underwater Egg Hunt! The hunt will take place at the Rock Island Fitness and Activity Center from 1-3:30 p.m.

The cost to participate in this one-of-a-kind egg hunt is only $5 (must be under 14 years to register). Registration can be completed online at https://apm.activecommunities.com/rockislandparksandrec/Activity_Search/2405.

Hunting for eggs will be done in age group categories for a chance to win great prizes. Here are the hunting times for each group:

1:15 – 4 and under (Adult Participation Required)

1:45 – 5-7 year-olds

2:15 – 8-10 year-olds

2:45 – Deep-End Dive

The event will also feature a photo booth with a very special guest, coloring contests and games!

 

It is asked that all participants wear appropriate swimwear and follow all pool rules. Please bring your own basket, bucket or bag to hold your eggs in the water. Bring a towel and goggles if you need them!
