This month’s Sunday Funday event at the QC Botanical Center (2525 4th Avenue Rock Island) is all about Plant Science! On Sunday May 6 from 1-3 p.m. bring the entire family out for a day of learning and fun!

What hides in the soil to help plants grow?

What exactly do plants take from water?

Why do plants need sunshine to grow?

Thanks to a grant from the American Chemical Society, they will be exploring plant tissue with a brand-new plant microscope, along with many more fun learning tools. And don’t miss the water feature in the Children’s Garden!
