Rock Island Parents Can Register Their Students For School Online Now
The first day of school for the RIMSD#41 2023-2024 school year is August 3rd, 2023.
Starting on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, parents can log into
Skyward Family Access and use the Registration tile to complete registration. This year all parents/guardians MUST provide proof of residency. Families have until June 2nd to do so. After June 2nd, families will need to come to the in-person registration days to provide proof of residency.

Children who are five years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year will be permitted to enter kindergarten. Children who are six years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year will be permitted to enter first grade.
New students, including new kindergarten students, must bring: Birth Certificate, Illinois physical and immunization record, a current copy of IEP (if available). Parents must also complete a proof of residency form and bring 2 items of proof of residency. Proof of Residency Form (PDF) below.
Medical Information
All children entering the school district from out of state need to present proof of up-to-date immunizations and a school physical within 30 days of school entrance. No medication can be given in the schools (including over the counter and prescription medications) without written permission from the doctor and guardian. Book Fees
RIMSD is using a new system, RevTrak, for online payments. First time users are required to create an account in RevTrak in order to make payments online. If you wish to submit a fee payment, please use the Fee Payments tile on your Skyward Family Access page and click the RevTrak Online Payment link in the upper-right corner of the window.
- Early Childhood SE: $40
- Elementary K-6: $55
- Junior High: $55
Sports Fee Grades 7-8: $35 – one-time fee
- High School: $70 Driver’s Ed: $100
