Davenport Community School District 8th Grade Signing Day March 8

Davenport Community School District Career and Technical Education will hold the 8^th Grade Signing Day in the Davenport West High School auditorium from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8.

Career and Technical Education includes courses designed to introduce and prepare students for high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers. The courses provide students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers, and are aligned to industry standards and needs within our community.

The Davenport Community School District offers 15 specialized Career Tech Programs that align student interests and passions with a variety of careers. Our district currently leads the state of Iowa in apprenticeships, with 55 of the 240 apprenticeships in the state.
