Report: Iowa Gov. Reynolds Didn't Consult With Health Experts Before Lifting Covid-19 Restrictions

In a shocking new report, the Associated Press reported on Monday that Reynolds lifted the state’s mask mandate without consulting the health officials in her administration. State lawmakers participating in a conference call with Iowa Department of Public Health officials told the AP that Reynolds did not talk with health experts before lifting the restrictions. “We asked the Iowa Department of Public Health if they had input into the governor’s decision to lift the mask mandate on Friday and they said they had not,” said Sen. BREAKING NEWS: In the wake of Governor Kim Reynolds’ decision on Friday to eliminate any state requirements to wear masks and limit public gatherings to stop the deadly spread of covid-19, new numbers were released today showing Iowa as one of the least safe states in the U.S. in regard to covid-19. RIA Credit Union to Hold Ribbon-Cutting at New Bettendorf BettPlex Location

The R.I.A. Federal Credit Union will hold a ribbon-cutting for its BettPlex location at 3 p.m. February 11, 2021, at 4880 Forest Grove Dr., Bettendorf. This location originally opened in July 2020 and has been in operation since then. The credit union had wanted to celebrate the opening of this state-of-the-art facility last year with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, but at that time, the COVID-19 pandemic has reached a stage where such an event was not advised.
