“Big Rock Candy Mountain” Hits the Black Box Stage THIS WEEKEND!

A Quad City favorite returns to the Quad Cities this weekend!

If you’re a fan of the film   O’ Brother Where Art Thou   and   bluegrass and gospel music,  you’re going to love this show.

A merry band of misfits sneak into a theatre hoping to stay out of trouble, but instead find themselves front and center in this story about the power of music and seconds chances.

Add a down on her luck theatre owner and her wacky assistant, a clueless town mayor, his scheming wife and bumbling sheriff and you’ve got yourself an evening of music and fun that will have you grinning from ear to ear!

”Big Rock Candy Mountain” enjoyed several runs at the former District Theatre 2014-2015 before becoming a streaming film for Circa ‘21 in 2021. It will now play The Black Box Theatre in Moline August 17-20!

August 19 at 8pm

August 20 at 2pm

Tickets: $16
