The Quad Cities is red, white and BOOMING with local activities for the Independence Day holiday this week!
A number of cities will host a variety of events for the 4th of July, including fireworks shows, parades, and family-friendly activities across the region. Many events will include activities for children, food vendors, and live entertainment, making it a great day for families to celebrate together. Popular spots for watching fireworks include LeClaire Park, Schwiebert Riverfront Park, and the Quad Cities River Bandits game at Modern Woodmen Park.

Red, White & Boom!: This popular event will take place at LeClaire Park in Davenport and Schwiebert Park in Rock Island. It features food vendors, live music, and activities for kids, culminating in a spectacular fireworks show at dusk.
Bettendorf Fireworks: Fireworks will be shot off at Middle Park in Bettendorf, following a day filled with festivities including a parade and festival.
Muscatine Celebration: Muscatine will host an all-day celebration starting with a Kids Parade at 9 a.m. and culminating in a fireworks display at dusk.
Parades and Other Activities include:
Bettendorf Independence Day Parade: The parade starts at 10 a.m. at the intersection of 23rd Street and State Street, featuring various floats and community participation.
East Moline Events: East Moline will have a pancake breakfast, a parade at 1 p.m., and fireworks at River Bend Park on July 3rd and 4th.
DeWitt Celebration: DeWitt will hold a parade starting at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, along with a pancake breakfast and live music.

Free viewing areas for the fireworks include Schwiebert Riverfront Park, Modern Woodmen Park, Quinlan Court, and Rock Island Arsenal.
