KIIK-FM Becoming The River; Switching From Classic Hits To Country

KIIK-FM (104.9) is returning to familiar territory — going back to a country format as The River starting Monday, according to sources inside the station who asked not to be named. The station, owned by Townsquare Media, has been bounced around from format to format in the past two decades. WOC’s Jim Fisher Deserved A Better Farewell

I was never a big fan of Jim Fisher’s show. I know him personally, but not very well. I was a guest on his show a handful of times (where we would often disagree, on live radio), and when we ran into each other in social situations, we could get along fine as long as we avoided any hot button topics.
