Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Making Stop in Quad Cities!

Beginning in Montreal, two trains will make a festive journey, travelling through both the U.S. and Canada to bring holiday cheer to 164 communities along the Canadian Pacific network. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make a stop at the corner of Western Avenue and West River Drive in Davenport (near Modern Woodmen Park) this weekend! Pete the Purple Bull’s Run with the Bull 5K Rescheduled!

QC United and Pete the Purple Bull’s Kindness Rocks campaign is in full swing! The Run with the Bull 5K and Youth Relays scheduled for this Saturday Oct 13 have been cancelled. Due to the unfortunate Midwest weather we have been experiencing, the original race route is currently being taken over by the Mighty Mississippi. The good news? The race has been rescheduled! The rescheduled race date is Saturday Nov 17 at 9 a.m. Thanks to the wonderful people at Arconic, the new route will be located near Arconic and the bike path (265 Bellingham Road Riverdale). Baseball Hall of Fame Exhibit Is A Home Run

With one-of-a-kind memorabilia and content from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. and a cool interactive component and feel, the Hall of Fame Tour at Modern Woodmen Park hit a home run with me and my son when we went to see it this week. The exhibit is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot adjacent to Modern Woodmen Park.
