The AARP Tax Aide program’s trained volunteers are back in LeClaire this February and March to provide free tax assistance to anyone in the community regardless of age, income, or AARP membership. The volunteers can help with most tax returns including federal and Iowa/Illinois state taxes, though some restrictions do apply. Appointments will take place on Thursdays starting February 1 st and ending on April 4 th . The Friends of the LeClaire Community Library have received a large donation of art prints from local artist Raphael Iaccarino and held a reception today to allow library patrons to meet and thank the artist.  Iaccarino is an internationally recognized artist whose paintings are exhibited in public and private collections worldwide. Eight of the donated prints, some quite large, are vivid watercolors which were inspired by the magnificence of the tropical rain forest and jungles.  Six prints are architectural landscapes or interior roomscapes.
