‘Anybody’s Blues’, the first feature-length film from Farmer Klink Productions, the brainchild of former Quad City actor/director Ian Klink, will debut on July 1 in The Village of East Davenport. The three-year-old Crawford Brew Works (CBW) is literally raising the bar on mixing community partnerships, fundraising, volunteerism and the time-honored traditions of local live music and craft beer into a delicious, hearty whole. Several Quad-Cities artists were honored this past weekend with awards at the 29th-annual Iowa Motion Picture Association (IMPA) award ceremony. Due to Covid-19, the Aug. 8 event was held online this year.   The IMPA recognized outstanding creative and technical achievement in Iowa’s moving image production industry, in all its forms. “Sons & Daughters of Thunder,” a docudrama produced by Moline-based Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films, received seven awards, out of eight IMPA nominations. Fourth Wall, Putnam Present “A Bridge Too Far from Hero Street” Online July 4th Weekend

Eight months after its stirring premiere at the Putnam Museum Giant Screen Theater in Davenport, “A Bridge Too Far From Hero Street” – a new film that tells the true story of one local soldier’s involvement in the largest air assault in history – will be shown in two free online screenings over the July 4th weekend.
