The Davenport Public Library has partnered with Bethany for Children and Families to offer a program series geared toward modern parenting starting this week. Children do not come with instructions, join this 5 week program to learn more about navigating parenting in modern times. Throughout this series, parents will be given tools and tricks to have hard and big conversations with their children in a way that will foster healthy discussion. When living under the same roof with someone who is dependent on alcohol or other drugs, children of addiction and other family members may adopt coping strategies that can create lasting negative effects.
