Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Mississippi Valley is moving to a larger office headquarters next month in Davenport. After 15 years at 130 W. 5th Street in Davenport, BBBS is relocating its headquarters to 3247 35th Street Court off Elmore Avenue and Kimberly Road in Davenport, effective August 15th. The three-year-old Crawford Brew Works (CBW) is literally raising the bar on mixing community partnerships, fundraising, volunteerism and the time-honored traditions of local live music and craft beer into a delicious, hearty whole. Big Brothers Big Sisters Trivia Contest Set for Jan. 27-30

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – For more than 20 years, the Western Illinois University and Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of McDonough and Warren counties connection has been strong, with nearly 73 percent of “Bigs” in McDonough and Warren counties composed of WIU faculty, staff, students and alumni. Local 25 Golf Outing Raises $3,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley

On September 14-15, more than 200 golfers and volunteers participated in the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25 annual golf outing at Indian Bluff Golf Course in Milan. “After having to turn members away again last year, we decided to make this a two-day event to make room for everyone who wants to participate,” said Brett Swanson, Local 25 business agent. “With this year being as successful as it was, we plan to keep it a two-day event, and will continue to do what we can to make room for everyone.” The event raised $3,000 in support of one-to-one mentoring at Big Brothers Big Sisters of... Read More
