Meet Aquarius, Our Special Eclipse Iowa And Illinois Pet Of The Week

Welcome back, Aquarius!

Aquarius was originally from another shelter, came to us and was adopted and returned. The silver lining in this is that we were able to learn so much about her thanks to her kind, honest adopters. Aquarius’s new fur-sibling was not a fan of sharing her space with another dog and the hard decision was made to find a better fit for Aquarius. Her adopters described Aquarius as a “dream” and said she did well with the children in the home, with their cats, and had even wanted to play and get along with their dog. We found out that she was easily housetrained, and is a very quick learner! Here is what they had to say about Aquarius; “She is an amazing family dog, so smart. She loves everyone and is such a cuddler.”
Aquarius is 4 years old, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. Aquarius can be an escape artist and is capable of climbing a 6ft fence. She desperately wants to be around people.

We welcome back our girl with open arms and are so thankful to have the insight that we have now!

Good on a leash: Yes, she is working on it! She is very strong.
