IowaWORKS will host its second private reverse hiring event for the Quad City Steamwheelers.

The event will be held on Monday, March 13 from 11 am until 1 pm at the IowaWORKS job center – 1801A E. Kimberly Road, Davenport.

The private hiring event will allow for employers to interview players in hopes of securing long-term employment.

“Our hope is to find employment that revolves around the players’ practice and game schedule,” Cory Ross, Steamwheeler head coach, said. “The community has been supportive of the team. Helping with employment secures the livelihood of our players to stay in the Quad Cities during and beyond the Steamwheeler season.”
