Illinois Congresswoman Bustos Votes to Pass Two Bipartisan Bills Addressing Baby Formula Shortage

Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) voted to pass two bipartisan bills to help families affected by the nationwide baby formula shortage. Through the Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act, Bustos voted to allocate $28 million to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to boost baby formula supply and prevent future shortages. Coal Valley Woman Divya Badri Appears On 'Jeopardy!' Last Night

Coal Valley software developer Divya Badri appeared on “Jeopardy!” Monday night, attempting to win the title and knock off Ryan Long, a rideshare driver from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Badri and Long were joined by Nick Dee, a photographer from Los Angeles, California. The match started off raging and rocking, as Long showed his days of experience at the buzzer in the “Jeopardy!” round. He finished the first part of the show in the lead with $8,600, followed by Nick Dee with $4,000 and Divya Bardi with $400. Illinois Congresswoman Bustos Announces $3.9 Million to Tackle Polluted Brownfield Sites

Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17), a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, announced that the Biden Administration has awarded Rockford, Illinois, $3.9 million in grants to supplement the city’s Brownfield Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund.
