See Mercado on Fifth is an outdoor event from 5-10 p.m. every Friday on 5th Ave. between 11th and 12th streets in Moline. At just the age of 17 Moon Haynes is a published writer. Moon, a senior at Thurgood Marshall Learning Center says she’s always enjoyed writing and it’s kind of therapeutic for her.
