Remembrance Tree Lights Up Friday

What a better way to remember loved ones that have been lost than to assist in raising awareness for the growing need of hospice care in the Quad Cities. Genesis Health Services Foundation is hosting their annual Remembrance Tree ceremony this Friday Nov 10. This year’s tree lighting celebration will take place at Bechtel Park on River Drive and Iowa Street in Davenport. A musical prelude will begin at 6 p.m. The blessing and illumination of the Remembrance Tree will take place at 6:30 p.m. Since 2004, the Genesis Remembrance Trees have raised more than $30,000 for hospice care at Genesis.
