Over the holiday season, customers of the Quad Cities Hy-Vee stores donated more than 1,200 HOPE bags to community organizations in need. Starting Wednesday, January 8, Hy-Vee employees from the stores will deliver the bags to Roosevelt Community Center, Project Now and Christian Care. Since November, customers have been able to purchase a HOPE bag at their local Hy-Vee store for $10.
