Colonastock is an outside concert series that will be held on a hay-rack in a front yard in Colona, Illinois. The brainchild of husband and wife team Tristan and Jessica Tapscott, Colonastock aims to present 2-3 outdoor concerts a year with focus on up and coming indie acts from across the nation. National Pool Tourney Shoots Into Sharky’s This Weekend

The John Deere Classic isn’t the only tournament in town this weekend.  Aspiring young APA poolplayers from across North America are in Davenport, Iowa this week for the APA Junior Championships.  Nearly 300 players will compete July 14 – July 16 at Sharky’s Billiards for a championship title. “We’re excited to once again host our Junior Championships in Davenport.  We have a lot of excited players coming from across the United States and Canada to participate and we anticipate another great event,” said APA President Reneé Lyle. It’s time for a big 10-4 good buddy! The Iowa 80 Truckstop is keeping on trucking for it’s 38th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree Thursday through Saturday, July 13-15.
