Mercy Me will bring their inhale (exhale) fall tour to Moline’s TaxSlayer Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. Tickets start at $25 and are on sale HERE. All ages require a ticket. BREAKING NEWS: Illinois covid-19 cases are starting to rise again as temperatures grow colder and the holidays loom, an ominous sign that statewide covid regulations and mask mandates aren’t leaving any time soon. The Illinois Department of Public Health released numbers today showing that cases are continue to steadily rise, and hospitalizations are starting to spike again. The Bettendorf Public Library’s music listening event series, Trax from the Stax, is offering an inside look at the creation of film score on November 11th at 7:00 PM. Davenport musician Neal Smith, who has recently composed, arranged, performed, and recorded a score of the film “The Land Beyond the Sunset,” will be presenting the program. Western Illinois University has not decided whether to require vaccinations on campus.

Western Illinois University honors military service throughout the year. In recognition of Veterans Day, WIU will host military appreciation activities through Thursday, Nov. 11. BREAKING: Illinois Workers Can Be Fired For Refusing Covid Vaccination Under New Pritzker Law

BREAKING NEWS: If you refuse to be vaccinated or comply with workplace covid mandates, you could be fired from your job in Illinois, according to a new law in the state. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker has signed into law an amendment to the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act allowing employers to penalize employees if they refuse to follow workplace rules about covid, including mandatory vaccinations, testing, and other mandates.
