The Rock Island National Cemetery will have a Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m., at Rock Island National Cemetery, at Committal Shelter #2. The Cemetery is undergoing various expansion and upgrade projects throughout the Cemetery; the public is asked to please excuse any messes.  The keynote speaker will be Lt. Gen. Antonio A. Family fun and philanthropy were “in the bag” as Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 25 sponsored its third annual Veteran’s Bags Tournament in support of the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
