In honor of Women’s History Month, the Western Illinois University Student Honors Association (SHA) will host a Women’s Media Drive.

This drive will be oriented toward popular media that is created by women, for women, or engages with ideas of womanhood. Content from queer women, women of color and other under-represented women is encouraged.

Possible donations include books, movies, music, artwork, etc. Items can be new or secondhand. SHA invites any WIU students and staff who have created a piece of media that fits this theme to submit their own work to the drive. The organization accepts both creative and academic works.

The Women’s Media Drive will take place Monday, March 21 – Friday, March 25, during office hours. The drop-off location will be the Centennial Honors College, Horrabin Hall, room 6 (the College’s new home beginning Wednesday, March 16).
