Western Illinois University IDEAS Club to Host Women's History Month Event March 21

MOLINE, IL – – Western Illinois University- Quad Cities IDEAS Club will host a Women’s History Month event at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in QC Complex, room 1102. The event will celebrate the women who inspire and show appreciation for women who have an impact on our communities. Participants will have the opportunity to write a letter to a woman they find inspiring and enjoy the movie Iron Jawed Angels. Pizza and refreshments will be provided to all attendees. Western Illinois University Student Honors Association Hosting Women's Media Drive

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Western Illinois University Student Honors Association (SHA) will host a Women’s Media Drive. This drive will be oriented toward popular media that is created by women, for women, or engages with ideas of womanhood. Content from queer women, women of color and other under-represented women is encouraged. Possible donations include books, movies, music, artwork, etc. Items can be new or secondhand.
