Western Illinois University Launches New Website to Highlight AlumniThe site, located at wiu.edu/cofac/bcj/careers/index.php, showcases “Breaking News with BC & J Alumni” who are working at radio and television stations locally and around the country.

“The Department of Broadcasting and Journalism is proud to highlight and celebrate some of our students working on-air in the media,” said William “Buzz” Hoon, interim dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication. “We hope these vignettes will also raise the spirits of our current students, whose experiences were interrupted after spring break. For our students, past and present, we hope this page will continue to create a special connection and foster pride in their program.”
