Record Store Day is back at Ragged Records and Trash Can Annie in Davenport Iowa.

Starting at 9:00AM on April 20, Ragged Records and Trash Can Annie will be stocking their shelves with an extensive selection of limited edition Record Store Day titles. Be sure to show up on time or line up early to get your desired title. They will also be giving away free Ragged Records / Gnar City tote bags packed with goodies to the first 150 customers through the door. Stay tuned to their social media for more special announcements coming your way about the days festivities.

Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently-owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally.

The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today, Record Store Day is celebrated at independently-owned brick-and-mortar record stores around the world.
