The Steamwheelers have ground to a halt.

Quad City Steamwheelers Season CanceledThe Indoor Football League, which includes the Quad City Steamwheelers, has decided to cancel the 2020 season.

Steamwheeler representatives posted the following on their facebook page:

“Though we are extremely disappointed we could not continue play we support the decision 100% as the health and safety for our players, staff and fans are paramount. We are looking forward to making a huge return in 2021! To all of our fans, sponsors, players, and partners we hope to keep all of you locked in for 2021. The IFL will expand to a 16 game season giving all involved an extra FREE game as a perk for the given circumstances. Thank you for all of your support in these trying times. Go Wheelers!”
