Playcrafters Barn Theatre is opening its doors to Plus 60 members for a benefit performance Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m.

The play is an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “A Murder is Announced” directed by Madelyn Dorta. Join your Plus 60 friends while we watch the tale unfold. The residents of a large, picturesque English village are astonished to read a notice in the local newspaper that a murder will take place this coming Friday at Little Paddocks, the Victorian home of Letitia Blacklock. Some assume it is a hoax, others imagine an invitation to a fun party game. A group gathers at the house at the appointed time. When the lights go out, a gun is fired, and suddenly—a victim is dead! A detective inspector follows the twists and turns, assisted by the intrepid Miss Marple. Marple must unravel the complex relationships and events to discover the killer’s identity. Join us to find out who is the guilty party!

This performance is an exclusive benefit performance for QC Plus 60 members. Plus 60 is offering this event FREE to the first 222 club members to register. Tristan Layne Tapscott has been dubbed the “Quad Cities’ P.T. Barnum” and although the person who initially said it meant it as an insult, he happily accepts the title.
