New Pop-Up Business, Curlee Girl Gifts & More Popping Up In Bettendorf
A new business is “popping” up just in time for Mother’s Day shopping. Curlee Girl Gifts & More, a pop-up party business featuring unique gifts and clothing, is having their first party on Thursday, May 1, from 3pm-7pm at Crawford Brew Works, 3659 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf. Curlee Girl owner, Gwen Tombergs, is excited to start this new adventure. “I’ve always admired what the Bling Bling Sisters did years ago with a fun, relaxed shopping experience that had items you can’t buy anywhere else,” Tombergs said. “I also wanted to have pop-up parties in local establishments so it’s a win-win for both of us.” The event is in the upstairs party room of Crawford Brew Works and Tombergs encouraged attendees to grab a beverage, shop and then stay for dinner. Wine drinkers can bring their own bottle for a $10 corking fee. Curlee Girl pop-up parties will be held randomly to start with more planned as the demand increases.
