Take a trip to the Land of the Dead and experience Disney and Pixar’s Coco in Concert, at the Adler Theatre (136 E 3rd Street Davenport) this Saturday Jan 18 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.Coco Comes to Life at Adler Theatre

Follow the story of 12-year-old Miguel who travels to the land of the Dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family.  This family-friendly, live-to-picture concert event features Michael Giacchino’s beautiful musical score and the 2017 two-time Academy Award winning film for Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature Film.

The Adler Theatre/River Center will be transformed into the Land of the Dead with special pre-show activities, Day of the Dead face painting, vendors, and performances from Ballet Folklorico and Glenview Middle School Mariachi Band. The following Mercado on 5th Vendors will sell art, retail items, and traditional Mexican foods including tamales, elote (Mexican street corn), and atole (a traditional drink enjoyed during Mexican holidays made of hot corn and masa typically served with tamales).
