Moline, Ill. – The Historic Block Courtyard in downtown Moline is set for another active season in 2026, bringing live music, fitness classes, tournaments and community gatherings to one of the city’s most unique outdoor spaces.
Located at 1520 River Drive between The River House and Dead Poet’s Espresso Ltd., the Historic Block Courtyard, also known as the Skinner Block Courtyard, serves as a popular gathering place in downtown Moline. The space features the “City of Mills” mural depicting Moline’s 1850s riverfront and regularly hosts outdoor entertainment, dining and community events throughout the warmer months.
“Moline Centre continues to focus on creating experiences that bring people downtown and give them opportunities to connect with the community,” Moline Centre Program Manager Jennifer Smith said. “Along with bringing back Chillin’ in the Courtyard, we are excited to introduce several new events this season that give people even more reasons to spend time downtown.”
