meet beetlesA Beatles tribute band, kids activities, food, other live music and more highlights this year’s East Moline Freedom Fest, helping local veterans and taking place Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5-6 on 15th Avenue in downtown East Moline.

After a 10 year hiatus the city is excited to bring a downtown festival back to East Moline. The new event features free live music featuring six bands, food and beverages, a craft fair, car show, kids games, five bounce houses (including a giant obstacle course), demonstrations and much more. Proceeds from the event go to help local veterans groups.
Beatles fans should enjoy Chicago’s own Meet the Beetles hitting the Freedom Fest stage on Saturday Aug. 6. These lads pay tribute to the greatest band in history by encompassing the “Beatles Concert Experience”, complete with the look, accent, proper instruments, and onstage banter. The show is free and starts at 8 p.m. in downtown East Moline.
