Not-so-Normal Spooktacular Trick or Treat

Put on your best costume and join the Moline Parks and Recreation Department for a Not-so-Normal Spooktacular trick or treat this Thursday Oct 29 from 3 – 7:30 p.m. at Stephens Park (7th Street and 15th Avenue Moline).

This fun trick or treat walk is open to Moline residents, ages 3-12. You will visit a number of various stations to collect candy, trinkets, coloring pages, photo opportunities and more.

Space is limited per time slot and pre-registration is required – you must register all children wanting to participate. You must come during your registered time (select time at registration).

Social distancing will be required and masks will be mandatory for all participants and parents.

Spooky Spotlight Spectacular: A Halloween Cabaret

Make plans to experience the Spooky Spotlight Spectacular: A Halloween Cabaret, this Thursday Oct 29 and Friday Oct 30 at The Spotlight Theatre (1800 7th Avenue Moline). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the fun begins at 7 p.m.

Featuring performances by local singers, this fun filled night of Spooky Songs will be the perfect night to get you into the mood of Halloween! Come in costume to be entered to win various prizes!

Cost: $20 in advance / $25 at the door

Bar and concession stand will be open!

Seating is limited to 50 people and masks must be worn upon enter.

Dancing for Dracula and You!

Join Ballet Quad Cites for a delicious three course sit-down dinner and a lively, playful Halloween fundraiser performance!

Enjoy Dancing for Dracula and You! in the beautiful ballroom at The Outing Club (2109 Brady Street Davenport) this Friday Oct 30 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. All proceeds will go directly to Ballet Quad Cities to keep the organization a viable part of the community until they can return to performing in area theaters.

The atmosphere in the ballroom at The Outing Club is a wonderful setting for Ballet Quad Cities’ first indoor performance. Tables will be spaced generously apart with plenty of fresh air and extra safety measures in place.

Slip on your best costume or finery–or a decorated mask if you wish–and attend the best event of the season. This is one safe event that you won’t want to miss!

LIMITED TICKETS $75/EACH. TABLES FOR 2, 4, 6 OR 8 GUESTS WILL BE AVAILABLE – EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY MUST PURCHASE TICKETS TOGETHER.

-Dracula’s Pretzel Encrusted Chicken Breast, Boetje’s Mustard Cream , seasonal vegetables, and Boursin Mashed Potatoes

Experience Dogtoberfest this Saturday Oct 31 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Iron + Grain Coffee House (585 12th Avenue East Moline).

Dogtoberfest will feature dog-related vendors, doggy trick or treating, puppacinos and a new drink release! You can also enjoy Scratch Cupcakes from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Trunk or Treat – Hocus Pocus & Monsters, Inc.

It’s Halloween at the Blue Grass Drive-in (774 W Mayne St. Blue Grass)! Come out early this Saturday Oct 31 for Trunk or Treat. Then stick around for some DISCOUNTED movies. This screen will have Hocus Pocus followed by Monsters, Inc.

Candy? Bring it.
Distanced Parking? Done.
Costumes? Wear em!
Masks? Absolutely.

Gate and ticket booth open at 4:30 p.m. Costumes and candy take place from 5 to 7 p.m. The movies start at 7:30 p.m.

Nightmare on 5th Ave

Brought to you by your friends at Twisted Mics & The University Club – October 31st 2020 will mark the second annual ‘Nightmare on 5th Ave’ celebration.

Set in the heart of downtown Moline in a 100+ year old historical Quad Cities landmark – The Reliance Building (University Club 1518 5th Avenue Moline). So old it probably has ghosts. If you enjoy drinking games, loud dance music, fun costumes, good food, and making Halloween memories – this is the event for you. Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume for fun and/or to enter into the “Best Costume” contest to win a PRIZE!! Vendors will be doing trick-or-treating for children and families! October is the best time to enjoy the outdoors! So why not join YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln for movie night at camp?

Drive In Movie Night will take place this Sunday Nov 1 at Camp Abe Lincoln (1624 W Front St. Blue Grass). Camp will open at 5 p.m. and the movie will begin around 6 p.m.
Start off with some fun on the new Kangaroo Jumper and roast marshmallows by the fire while waiting for the show to start.
