The Figge Art Museum, located at 225 W 2nd Street Davenport, is hosting their annual Art at Heart Gala on Saturday June 3. From 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. community members are invited to help raise funds for the benefit of children’s arts and educational outreach in the Quad Cities region. ‘Heidi’ Screening And Lecture Coming To Figge

The German American Heritage Center is sponsoring a new film and lecture series called “Germans in Hollywood” that debuts at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Figge Art Museum, John Deere Auditorium. The first film to be screened is “Heidi.” Cost is $5. Presenter Fred Isele will introduce “Heidi,” an American musical drama film directed by Allan Dwan. The screenplay was based on the 1880 children’s story by Swiss author Johanna Spyri.
