Even though the physical buildings have been shut down due to coronavirus concerns, the Rock Island Library continues to offer digital services through OverDrive, eRead Illinois, Hoopla digital, Kanopy, RB Digital magazines, and the New York Times online. Many of our digital services are offering extended use during this time of need. For example, Kanopy has opened up unlimited access to a collection of films that can be viewed without using monthly credits. Bettendorf’s Family Museum has canceled all large-scale events through the month of April, including next week’s Spring Break events. The Museum will remain open to the public. Classes, field trips, and drop-ins will continue. Davenport’s Parks and Recreation department is hosting their annual Mother Son Formal this Sunday Mar 8 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the RiverCenter (136 E 3rd Street Davenport).
