EMSSC Offering Top Soccer To Athletes With Disabilities

Athletes with mental or physical disabilities can check out the Beautiful Game with a beauty of a new program from East Moline Silvis Soccer Club! EMSSC is proud to present Top Soccer!  This program is for athletes ages 5-22 with mental or physical disabilities who want to learn to play soccer.  This will be a four week session in May, where once per week athletes practice skills and then participate in a coach-led game! EMSSC Renegades Return Home Victorious From USA Cup

After a stunning first place finish at the 2019 USA Cup in Minnesota over the weekend, the U13 EMSSC Renegades returned home this week, bringing the gold cup and the spoils of their victories. The annual tournament features teams from over 25 countries worldwide and ranked teams from all 50 states. Teams must meet a certain ranking in order to be included in the mix, and EMSSC has been ranked in the top 20 throughout the season to qualify. EMSSC U13 Renegades Win 2019 USA Cup!

Very few teams from the Quad-Cities area have ever competed in the USA Cup, let alone won a trophy there. The annual tournament in Blaine, Minn. features teams from around the world and is only open to the top-ranked squads from states across the country. Some of the top soccer players from around the globe meet up to compete, trade pins, hang out and talk soccer with each other, knowing full well that many of the athletes taking the pitch will be crossing the endlines in professional games before a decade passes. EMSSC Spartans Ranked #15 In Illinois!

The East Moline Silvis Soccer Club Spartans U11 team has moved up to #15 in the state and #70 in the Midwest! The Spartans are the top-ranked team in the Quad-Cities region, and have moved up from #22 last month after a second-place finish in the Legacy Challenge in O’Fallon, near St. Louis, and a first place finish in the Armed Forces Tournament in Moline, after a thrilling penalty kick shootout 7-6 win over the Q-C Strikers.
