Join Naturalist Becky Baugh from the Wapsi River Center on Tuesday, December 8th at 1:00 pm to learn about many wild edibles in your neck of the woods. We will focus on foraging basics, foraging safety, identifying plants, and preparing wild edibles. You will learn about five wild edibles available this season. Explore Momentous Events in US History At Libraries

The Rock Island and Colona Public Libraries will each explore major events in US history this November with two separate presentations by speaker Jim Gibbons. First, the Colona Public Library observes the 53rd anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s untimely death with a program on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
