In honor of June being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month, The Project of the Quad Cities is for the first time holding a free Pride at Bass Street Landing on June 4-5. Presented with sponsors ReCept Pharmacy (The Project on-site pharmacy at 1701 River Drive, Moline) and Arconic, the nearby event (on the plaza off 17th and River Drive) will be 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 4, and 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 5, including food, live music, drag performances and education. Bass Street Landing 2019 Summer Concert Series Has Arrived!

There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting outside on a nice breezy summer evening and enjoying some free live music. That’s right, free! Every Thursday night throughout the summer, the Moline Centre holds a free concert series on the Plaza at Bass Street Landing just off 17th Street in Moline. The concerts go from 7-9 p.m. and all you need to bring is a lawn chair! If you get a “Dick pic” from downtown Moline this weekend, don’t worry, it’s not going to be creepy and off-putting, it’s probably a friend telling you about the legendary Dick Holliday & the Bamboo Gang lighting up the night at 7 p.m. Friday at Bass Street Landing.  All proceeds from this concert will benefit the Moline High School Special Olympics team and Tudi’s Tribe.
