Smash Up A Good Time With QC Rollers!Looking for something high energy and enjoyable to do this weekend? Then we have the perfect event for you!

On Saturday April 8, the Eldridge Community Center and Skatepark (400 S 16th Avenue Eldridge) will be transforming into a flat-track roller derby rink! Even more exciting, this bout features a double header for twice the derby action!  First the Orphan Brigade will take on the Mitchell County Derby Devils and then the Quad Cities Rollers All Stars will hit the track against the Como Derby Dames. Doors open at 4pm and the first game starts at 5pm.

Admission for this event is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2893331 or from your favorite
Roller. Half of the proceeds from ticket sales go straight towards the RiverBend Food Bank!

Everyone is invited afterwards for an open skate and after party. Skate rentals will be available, or you can bring your own from home.

The Quad City Rollers league is the Quad Cities’ premier all-female flat-track roller derby league. Their mission is to develop amateur female athletes for national and international competition, foster the physical and mental strength found in these athletes, provide quality sports entertainment for their fans, promote the sport of roller derby and make a positive impact in the community through outreach. The Quad City Rollers are also very active in the community. Their efforts can be seen volunteering at local events, organizing blood drives, collecting coats/school supplies for other local charities during their games, donating tickets/baskets for benefits and when possible writing a check to local causes.

This is a very family friendly event. So come on out and help support our very own roller derby league. You will not be disappointed!
