How would you like to spend a nice relaxing day at the winery, while supporting local pets and their owners? Well, now you can!

QC Paws is hosting ‘Wine for Canines and Felines’ at Creekside Vineyards Winery & Inn (7505 120th Avenue Coal Valley), this Saturday Sep 9 from 1-6 p.m.

There are three registration packages available, the Red Package, Gold Package and Couples Package. The Red Package is $25 and includes wine tasting, appetizers and three raffle tickets. The Gold Package is $40 and includes choice of one wine cooler bag or insulated wine bottle, wine tasting, appetizers and five raffle tickets. The Couples Package is $60 includes choice of one wine cooler bag or insulated wine bottle, wine tasting, appetizers and eight raffle tickets.

You can register for Wine for Canines and Felines online by going to www.qcpaws.org or at the shelter, located at 4001 78th Avenue Moline.

New this year, an optional walking tour of the vineyards will also be available. Registration for the walking tour will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the tour will commence at 1 p.m. It is also requested that participants bring their own lawn chairs to this event.

Quad City PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is a private non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to support the needs of the animals of the Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter. QC Paws’ mission is to protect the welfare, health and safety of pets and people and promote responsible pet ownership.

Come out this weekend to enjoy wine tasting, appetizers, live music, raffle drawing and more, while helping a great cause!
