Davenport Schools Gym Class Taken Over By Marines

Today, Davenport West PE classes were taken over by the Marine Corps. West was one of 35 high schools across the country to be selected for this special day. Students were taken through a series of interactive activities during class. The goals of this program are:

-Create a fun and engaging day for all students.

-Teach students life lessons and how to work together as a team.

-Give students a Marines quality workout.

-Provide students with information about career opportunities.
