Davenport, Iowa — Covenant Family Solutions (CFS) will celebrate the opening of its Davenport Clinic with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Friday, March 24th at the new clinic located at 5403 Victoria Avenue at 2:00PM. Western Illinois University’s School of Nursing has received a donation of a simulated infant warmer from Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL. A newborn radiant infant warmer, along with newborn nursing supplies, were donated to the WIU School of Nursing after the recent closure of the Carthage hospital’s obstetrics department. A simulated infant warmer typically costs about $5,000. WIU Nursing Resource Center Coordinator Danielle Knowles connected with the hospital upon hearing its obstetrical department was closing. Today the Quad City Storm and UnityPoint Health Trinity host the 4th Annual Hockey Fights Cancer ice painting at Vibrant Arena. Quad Citizens are invited to come to the arena between 9AM and 7PM to paint the names of loved ones who have battled or are currently battling cancer on the ice.
