Visit Quad Cities announced today the tickets for the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Wom­en’s Basketball Tournament at the TaxSlayer Center, 1201 River Drive in downtown Moline, Illinois, on March 10-13, 2022, will go on sale Friday, December 17.  The MVC, in its 115th season, is the nation’s second-oldest NCAA Division I conference and is recognized as one of the most progressive athletic leagues in the country. So, what exactly is the Little Black Dress Initiative? Founded in 2014 by Junior League of London, LBDI is a week-long awareness campaign that harnesses the power of social media to illustrate the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities and access to resources. Junior League of the Quad Cities members will wear the same black dress/outfit for 5 consecutive days November 29 through December 3. By doing this, we hope to open up conversations about the obstacles that women have when it comes to getting mental health services.
