There’s been fantastic news in regard to covid cases in Illinois and the Quad-Cities! Yesterday, we reported that Genesis Health Systems was reporting no hospitalizations from covid. Today, the Rock Island County Health Department reports no new cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases remains at 14,998. Currently, there are no patients hospitalized in the county with the virus. Milan Covid-19 Vaccination Center Open Through Saturday; Clinics Begin Next Week

The Milan Camden Centre mass vaccination site will be open through Saturday, May 29. Starting the week of June 1, the health department will have twice-weekly vaccination clinics. Tuesday is for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (18 and older) vaccine and Friday is for Pfizer (12 and older.) Hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. both days and by appointment other weekdays.
