Cool Beanz Coffeehouse in Rock Island, a charming spot for students and people of all age in College Hill, is closing their indoor dining and hangout area due to covid-19’s spread and ensuing restrictions on businesses.

The spot left the following note on their social media Monday:

Rock Island's Cool Beanz Closing Indoor Dining Due To CovidDear Cool Beanz Coffeehouse community,
With Covid case numbers continuing to climb in our area, we have made the difficult decision to suspend indoor dining beginning Monday November 2nd.
We will continue to allow customers to come inside and place to go orders at our register (masked). Customers can also continue to use our online order website and have items brought to them curbside.
This decision does not come lightly, our business is struggling, and we ask that you try and order out and support local businesses whenever you can. But we recognize that the heart of our business is our staff, and the safety of the staff and our community continues to be a priority.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding,
Annette Hutto
Cool Beanz Owner
PS: We are doing our best to roll with the punches, so be on the lookout for an email this week about Cool Beanz adding a drive-through!
