Rooftop Beatles Tribute Concert Rocks Putnam
On a brisk January day almost five decades ago, a legendary group of guys from Liverpool made the decision to shock the entire fashion district in central London. As spectators were enjoying their lunch breaks, they suddenly became witnesses to the last public concert the Beatles ever performed! Wanting to connect with their inner rock stars, the Fab Four put on an impromptu concert on the rooftop of the Apple Studios headquarters. And now you have a chance to experience that same shock and awe!
On Saturday May 13 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. the River Music Experience and Putnam Museum will be hosting a Beatles Tribute Concert on the Putnam Rooftop! That’s right, you now have the opportunity to relive the infamous rooftop concert FOR FREE! Seating will be in the Putnam Museum parking lot (1717 W 12th St Davenport), so make sure to bring your lawn chairs! The concert will be moved into the main lobby if it rains. There will also be a beer tent and food truck for your enjoyment!
