The Local Scene Stage will be featuring local and regional musicians throughout the festival. The W.D. Petersen Memorial Music Pavilion, the historical bandshell, will be showcasing some of the best blues performers around. BlueSKool, an area designated for children’s workshops will also be handing out harmonicas to all attendees while conducting blues educational programs.  For a full list of performers and schedules make sure to check out http://mvbs.org/blues-fest.php.

The Mississippi Valley Blues Festival began back in 1985 and is now considered by many blues magazines to be among the top blues festivals in the country. Come and enjoy the down home and non-commercial feel that lets fest-goers sit back, relax and enjoy an incredible lineup of blues talent!
